Houston Texas and Back!
My daughter Victoria and I took a Road Trip to Houston and back, for an interview process she had with United Airlines - Wow that was quite a process! Anyhow, our 1200 mile venture was suppose to be no more than 5 days and it turned into 11 days. We had a good time visiting my niece Jessica and her husband, Paul, at Fort Hood; and we spent Easter Sunday worshipping God with Joel and Victoria Osteen at Lakewood Church in Houston. That was Amazing! Our Road Trip through Texas became a mini vacation in Texas, and Yikes, I had to do without my daily supplement. Thrive.
So I packed 5 days of clothing, shoes, and Thrive Capsules and Shake Mix...Well needless to say, I had to wash clothes at the hotel and I went 6 days without my Thrive. When I arrived home, I decided to make it a full a week and purposely held out another day without Thrive, even though I was already beginning to feel the pain in my back and the numbness in my legs from the Spinal Injury I have lived with since 2001. I wanted to endure a full week without Thrive so that I could really feel the difference. I forgot how bad the pain was without Thrive. It's funny, but the pain doesn't all of the sudden come back in full force. It took a few days, and then the pain was dull and irritating, I don't think I noticed it until the pain became more and more sharp - the final conclusion for me was feeling the numbness in my right leg again, just as I did many years ago when I fell and ended up needing a wheel chair for a little over three years. Thank God I don't need that wheel chair anymore!!! Another factor was the lack of control over my temper - pain creates a miserable effect on the mind, and sometimes we don't realize how bad we are hurting or feeling irritated from discomfort. I started back on Thrive, yesterday, and I am feeling so much better!
